Happy to announce that The Earth Charter launched 'Moments that Speak' during the recent Rio+20 Conference on climate change. The book is published by KIT Publishers, an Amsterdam-based independent publishing group, and is edited by Lisa Marika Jokivirta, Anna Duhon and Shannon Walsh.
A piece of mine titled 'Sudiksha's Zen Piddle' appears in the book, as well as a picture of a moonrise over the Himalayas, clicked many moons ago. There are writings by Wangari Maathai, David Suzuki and Leonardo Boff, among many others—feels nice to be amongst such good people, and feels good, too, to read a book that's well-designed and is full of my favourite subject matter: Earth!
Till August 2012, if you purchase a copy, someone in Africa receives a copy of the book, too, along with a message from you. Thought I'd let you know.
You can read more about the launch and about the Africa deal here.
